About the theatre
Indian politics. Served hot, salted, and slightly over-buttered.
PoliticalPopcorn.com covers Indian politics the way a good critic covers cinema — attentive to craft, alert to spectacle, and unwilling to pretend the plot is duller than it is.
Non-partisan by policy
We are not neutral about facts, and we are not aligned with any party. Every side gets the same treatment: the drama gets named, the substance gets explained, and the reader is trusted to decide.
Entertainment framing, factual content
The popcorn scale rates how dramatic a story is, never how true or how important it is. A 5-bucket rating is a comment on the spectacle. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim that politics is only entertainment — the stakes are real, and the explainers exist to say so.
Corrections
Errors get corrected at the top of the affected story, with the change described plainly. Write in and we will fix it faster than a press secretary can issue a clarification.
